THE CHIPETTES' I'M SO EXCITED SONGFIC (CLEANER VERSION)
Our songfic opens up in a big nightclub filled with many familiar animated couples seated at tables, including:

Somewhere in a far right corner are the Chipettes -- Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor -- looking bored with the complete lack of excitement going on.
ELEANOR: This place is boring!
JEANETTE: Nice plan, Brittany, bringing us here to a lousy nightclub.
BRITTANY: Hey, they said they had some great music here!
JEANETTE: Well, I don't hear any good music playing now.
BRITTANY: Then why don't we just go up there and MAKE some good music?
ELEANOR: You're not serious, are you, Brittany?
BRITTANY: I've never been more serious in my life. Come on!
The Chipettes get up from their table, and head into a back room. A few minutes later, the lights go out, causing a great deal of gasps and murmurs. Just then, the Pointer Sisters' "I'm So Excited" starts up and a spotlight shines down on the Chipettes coming down the steps into the center of the nightclub. They are wearing dresses similar to the ones they wore in "Goin' Down To Dixie" when they sang "Proud Mary". Everybody watches on as they start to dance and sing.
BRITTANY: (singing)

Tonight we'll put all other things aside
